Denmark's Third W

Day two of the Men’s Softball European Championship started off much like day one ended, with fast and furious play. With a final score of 19-0 in 3 innings, Denmark recorded their third consecutive mercy shutout.

Yesterday the Danes recorded 20 runs over 9 innings. This morning, they nearly reached that same total in just 3.

Sweden lost their first game yesterday morning by the same score in as many innings but bounced back later in the day to record their first three runs of the tournament against France.

Sweden is currently ranked 40th in the world. Lithuania is ranked 42nd and Croatia is not ranked at all so, while Denmark is racking up the Ws, the 11th ranked team in the world is certainly receiving a soft launch into the tournament.
