It has been a busy month in European Softball. The women are mid-tournament this week and next week, the men will have their turn.
Hosted by BSC Quick in Amersfoort Netherlands, 20 teams will play 80 games over the course of the week beginning on Monday, August 28th at 10:00am CET. Last year's Men's European Super Cup Softball winners, AS Roma, will not be making a return appearance. Instead, this year Italy is sending in an All Star team. Rosters have yet to be released so it is not clear if Sebastian Gervasutti will be playing for them, but it is clear he will not be with his homeland of Argentina. That's because this year Argentina has opted for youth. They, along with the Czech Republic, have placed a U-team into the tournament.
The event will begin with four pools in round robin play.
A Pool BEL - Brasschaat Braves
